Terms of Service
These terms of service cover this website and any testing, equipment, installation or rental work you buy from Treasure Valley Water Solutions. Plain English, because a document nobody reads protects nobody.
Effective date: 18 July 2026
Booking work means accepting these terms
Book a test or let us put a wrench on your plumbing, and you're agreeing to what follows. A signed quote or rental agreement controls the specifics of your job and wins over anything here.
Who we are and how to reach a human
We're a Meridian, Idaho water treatment company owned by Brandon and Jennifer Lambert, an authorized Hague Quality Water dealer. Call 208-602-3161 or email tvwatersolutions@gmail.com. We cover Ada, Canyon and Gem counties, plus Elmore, Payette, Owyhee, Boise, Valley and Washington. More on our about page.
Use this website for what it's built for
Read it, print it, book with real contact details. Don't scrape it or flood our forms. And everything here is general information, not a lab report on your house: the numbers on our water quality page are regional, not yours.
The free water test is free, with nothing attached
No cost. No purchase obligation, no deposit, no trip charge, no diagnostic fee later on an invoice. We test your water, show you the numbers, explain them, and leave.
Two honest limits. Scheduling is subject to availability, so the slot you want on our booking page may not be the one you get, and it's subject to service area.
Quotes reflect the conditions we actually measured
A quote comes from what we found on test day: hardness, iron, pH, nitrates, your plumbing layout, whether a drain and outlet are in reach. Most companies will tell you a softener is a softener. The meter says otherwise.
So quotes are estimates based on observed conditions, valid only as written. During an install last spring in Nampa, the drain we'd planned to use was an abandoned laundry line. We stopped and repriced. Any change to scope gets written approval first.
Scheduling, access and cancellations
Appointment windows are estimates. Water work runs long, and if we're late we call you. Tell us early if you need to move a booking. Someone eighteen or older has to be home, because we'll be showing readings and deciding placement.
Installation depends on what you tell us
Give us safe, clear access to the work area, main shutoff, outlet and drain. Disclose known plumbing problems first: leaks, a shutoff that won't close, galvanized pipe, a weeping water heater. All of it. Old pipe held together by scale sometimes doesn't survive being disturbed, and we can't carry a component you knew was failing. Where a permit is required, we'll tell you.
"We'd rather lose a sale on Tuesday than lose a Saturday and a ceiling in November. Every line in here exists because of something that happened on a job."
Two warranties, and they are not the same thing
Read this twice. The equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty from Hague Quality Water: we register your system and file claims for you, but coverage, duration and exclusions are theirs to set. Our workmanship is warranted separately by us, covering the connections, fittings and drain we installed.
We're not printing a term length here, because it belongs in your signed agreement where it can't be misread. Neither warranty is a maintenance contract. Freezing, misuse, power surges, outside work and skipped maintenance all fall outside both of them, and salt is yours unless you're on a delivery plan from our services page.
How the rental program works
We rent so budget never turns anyone away. You pay a recurring amount instead of buying outright and the equipment stays our property. Terms live in the agreement you sign. Don't sell a rental system or let a third party service it.
Paying for the work
Payment terms live in your quote or agreement: what's due, when, and how to pay. Unpaid balances may accrue interest or collection costs to the extent Idaho law allows. Title passes to you on payment in full.
What happens in common situations
Limitation of liability: where our responsibility stops
To the fullest extent Idaho law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from this website, our services, or equipment we sell, rent or install, including damage from conditions that existed before we arrived. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to what you paid us for the service or equipment concerned.
None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us, our owner and employees against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of this site, or inaccurate information you gave us.
Our content and our logo stay ours
The text, photography, layout, code, our name and our logo are our property or licensed to us. Quote a short passage with a link back. Don't copy our page copy onto another water treatment site. Hague and A.O. Smith marks belong to them.
Links and services we don't control
This site links to third party resources: public water data, manufacturer documentation, review platforms, our Instagram at @TVWaterSolutions. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Idaho law governs, Ada County hears disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, and any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ada County. But call us before anyone files anything.
Changes to these terms
We update this page as the business changes; the effective date at the top says when it last moved. The version in force for your job is the one published the date you signed.
Severability
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, it's limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force. Failing to enforce a provision isn't a waiver.
What this document commits us to
The test costs nothing and obligates you to nothing. Changes get your signature before they get your money, and the equipment is covered by Hague's warranty while the work of installing it is covered by ours.
